  • Oh, and the round is reportedly ongoing.

Investor check. Malaysia’s Hong Leong Bank led the round with $2M, while OSK-SBI Venture Partners joined in with $1.5M.

  •  Several individual investors, as well as existing investors FEBE Ventures and Antler, also participated.

🛍️ The ABCs of SoBanHang

Founded in 2021, SoBanHang is a merchant management app developed by Finan that helps family-run businesses and micro-enterprises manage sales, operations, and customer transactions.

  • The funding comes on the heels of a strategic partnership between Shinhan Bank Vietnam and Finan.
  • The two launched Shinhan Store, a platform built in SoBanHang that delivers both banking services and merchant management tools.

💸 What’s next?

They’ll use the $$$ to expand across the region and improve their embedded banking services.
