Keep it fresh! Secai Marche is a Tokyo-headquartered farm-to-table marketplace that serves Singapore and Malaysia.

They’ve just completed their Series A funding round with $6M!

Investor check. Kuroneko Innovation Fund II and NX Global Innovation Investment Limited Partnership joined the round.

🍎 The ABCs of Secai Marche

Secai Marche connects restaurants, hotels, cafes, and other food establishments with farmers from Japan.

So fresh. They do not have minimum order requirements and have a network of over 400 producers, so you’ll be spoiled for choice.

  • They use their own cold-chain logistics network to keep a fresh produce supply!

🧊 Their next stage of growth

They’ll strengthen their logistics and cold chain networks, enhance their supply chain systems, and expand their products and services into new countries.

  • Oh, and they’re also going to hire more people specializing in technology development and logistics.

Extra Scoop. We last covered them earlier in May when they won a $4M grant from the Japanese government.
