Are you Hangry? Hangry is an Indonesian multi-brand virtual restaurant that cooks up delicious meals fast.

  • Now, they just raised a $10.5M Series A5!
  • Yep, you read that right, A5! They raised an additional $22M Series A back in 2022.

Investor check. Alpha JWC Ventures led the round.

🍗 Hungry for more?

Since launching in 2019, Hangry has grown to 18 brands with more than 118 outlets across Indonesia.

  • Most of their brands revolve around local and international-style fried chicken concepts, except for Dari Pada, which focuses on coffee and beverages.
  • You can find them in GrabFood, GoFood, ShopeeFood, and in their own Hangry app!

☕ How do they do it?

Their kitchens are multi-brand, meaning they can make dishes from any of their different brands quickly and anytime.

  • Their model allows the firm to produce over 1K portions per day per outlet.
  • Oh, and for customers, you can mix and match orders from different brands and just check out once!

💰 What’s with the $$$?

They’ll work towards expanding their operational footprint and increasing production efficiency.

  • Oh, and they’ll also upgrade kitchen infrastructure and equipment to enable existing outlets to serve higher volume.
  • They’re laying the groundwork for international expansion, starting with Malaysia.
